Congratulations to the 4 teams that played off in this year’s finals. The under 10 year age group had a fantastic year with both teams making the finals and the brown team playing off in the grand final, going down to the Comets by a respectable 15 points.

The under 15 division 1 team who were defending their grand final win from last year, a huge achievement in itself, were beaten by the narrowest of margins, a solitary 2 points and reminded everybody they will be a force to be reckoned with in 2012.

The biggest news item of the year however, belongs to our Youth Girls Team who won their grand final ! After narrowly losing their qualifying final, they had to do it the hard way by winning their next 2 games and were well deserved winners; not only that they are the 1st all youth girls team in Boroondara to win a YJFL pennant. Well done girls !
